In fact, he likes this book so much that he's not really paying attention to where he's walking and will probably walk right smack dab into someone if he isn't careful. he's moving from the stacks to one of the tables where he's got a bunch of other books piled up regarding things that eat people.

It's for a job. Don't judge him too much. Feel free to bother.]

[stands carefully] Good to know the literal running into people isn't the start of your impending doom.

[she chuckles] I guess that would depend on your definition of doom.

In that case, I wouldn't suggest sticking around here too long. I think Kansas is Doom's favorite vacation spot. [a pause, a slightly sheepish grin, and a little bit of laughing at herself] Boy, wasn't that the best thing to say to the nice stranger in the library, nice job, Chloe.

I think I can handle a little bit of Doom. Keeps things interesting.

[she smiles up at him for a few moments before tilting her head]

You know, you kind of remind me of a friend of mine. [pauses as she observes him a little more closely] Actually, it's kind of eerie...
